Life’s like a box full of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get but the chocolate lovers know exactly what a chocolate gives them..It is probably the world’s number one comfort food ,soothing, & stimulating at the same time. A dieter’s demon, chocolate has been hugely responsible for a ballooning weight problem among those who love it. And now for the sweet news. Chocolate may actually be good for you. It contains a phytochemical called phenolic acid. Phenolic substances , it seems, can act as antioxidants which may offer some protection from heart disease and cancer. Nutritionists have to add up that it contains steric acid which, unlike other saturated fatty acids in our diet, does not raise the blood cholesterol. Researchers say that chocolates do not clog arteries that can lead to heart disease. And that is not all. A small lump of this dark delicacy supplies a stimulant similar to caffeine , sugar, fat, magnesium and a chemical called phenylethylamine which is said to be the chemical our brain releases when in love.
